Quick Facts
- The Japanese version does not have English subtitles.
- The UMD version comes with a bonus selection of high speed battle music
which isn't featured on the OST.
- Both the Limited Edition and Advent Pieces are now sold out in Japan.
- In the first week of release, the movie sold over 420,000 copies in Japan
[or by people who imported from Japan], which was 93% of all published copies
at the time.
- The special feature "Reminiscence of FFVII" gives an overview of Final Fantasy
VII for those who have not played the game.
- The trailers on the standard disc are all E3 trailers, however the Advent
Children trailer is the press trailer, not the full one.
- At this time no special or limited edition is planned for release outside
of Japan.
- The special disc available with Advent Pieces contains several features
which are not available anywhere else.
- Last Order which is a short anime [30 minutes] which features Zack and
Cloud during the time of the Nibelheim incident.
- Advent Children Special Edition which is the 25 minute version of the
movie which was shown at the Venice and Montreal Film Festivals in 2004.
- A making of which features interviews with many of the production staff
and some of the voice actors.
- Almost every Advent Children trailer since it was announced at TGS in
2004 including three unreleased trailers, two short trailers from TGS 2004
and the full E3 2005 trailer. The trailer included with FFX-2 International
as well as the Square-Enix Party 2005 trailer are not included.
- Final Fantasy VII International is a special pressing of the game containing
new artwork. The bonus disc "Perfect Guide" was originally released with the
International version of the game in Japan and contains secrets and character
models.
