Where: This trailer was shown behind closed doors at E3. Attendees to E3
needed to obtain a ticket to the Square-Enix presentation which entitled them to
view this trailer along with other compilation and SE trailers. The presentation
lasted approx. 30 minutes and a strict no camera policy was enforced. This trailer
has not been released at any other place [i.e. online] at all.
About: Where as this trailer is primarily the same as the E3 press trailer,
it contains several new scenes which were not included on the media trailer. This
included a scene of the Northern Crater, extended battle scenes with Bahamut SIN,
a motorbike chase over a bridge and new footage of Sephiroth facing Cloud.
Script and Translation
Voiceover: "The most cherished Final Fantasy"
Voiceover: "On film they speak for the very first time"
Voiceover: "Now they have returned..."
[Image of Clouds Sword in the ground with text "Square-Enix presents" on the screen]
[Cloud puts his sword into the ground backs away]
Cloud: "I know I'm not fit to help anyone"
Cloud: "No one"
[Marlene picks up some bandages begins to speak to Tifa]
Marlene: "Just like Denzel"
Marlene: "Is Cloud sick?"
[Close-up of Tifa looking rather concerned]
Tifa: "I don't think he will"
Marlene: "Fight?"
Tifa: "No..."
[Vincent in the Ancient Forest speaking to Cloud]
Vincent: "Geostigma is..."
Vincent: "What happens when the body over compensates for it's unwelcome
guest"
[WCM is speaking to Cloud]
WCM: "We've already initiated an investigation into the aftereffects of Sephiroth"
[An cloudy Northern Crater, a Shin-Ra helicopter flies overhead]
WCM: "Do you know what we found at the Northern Crater?"
WCM: "Nothing, Nothing at all. So you can relax"
[Cloud is being perused by Loz and Yazoo on motorbikes]
Loz: "Where's mother?"
Yazoo: "You're hiding her aren't you brother"
[Kadaj and the WCP talking]
Kadaj: "We need mother's strength"
Kadaj: "We must have it, for the reunion"
[A wolf is seen coming out from behind Clouds sword]
[Shadow creepers are seen chasing the motorbike]
[The scene then switches to Tifa and Loz fighting in the church]
[Kadaj preaching to the children in the City of the Ancients]
Kadaj: "The planet doesn't like our powers"
Kadaj: "It's trying to stop us by racking our bodies with pain"
Kadaj: "We will join as a family"
Kadaj: "And strike back at the planet... and bring it to its goddamned knees!"
[Cloud arrives in front of Kadaj and the children]
Cloud: "I'm here for the kids..."
Kadaj: "It's really too bad..."
Kadaj: "He's a traitor"
[Kadaj places the Souba to Cloud's neck]
[Cloud does an attack which appears to be Blade Beam, that ripples through the ground
and explodes at the end where trees are]
[Vincent is talking to Cloud]
Vincent: "The Dark Harbinger of the Skies, Jenova"
Vincent: "If they wanted to, they could make another Sephiroth"
[Cloud is perused by Loz by motorbike in a tunnel]
[Cloud and Aerith are standing back to back in a flower field]
Aerith: "You came. Even though you're about to break"
[Flashback of Zack in the back of a pickup truck]
Zack: "What are you going to do when you return to Midgar?"
Zack or Cloud: "We're friends right?"
[Close-up of a droplet of water]
Aerith: "Why can't you forgive yourself?"
[Cloud is standing in the rain]
Cloud: "Forgiven?... I let you die"
[Kadaj is talking the WCM again]
Kadaj: "Now, don't you think... It's time we ended this?"
[Kadaj shoots up a bolt into the sky and Bahamut SIN begins to attack. Vincent,
Yuffie, Cid, Barret and Cloud are then seen trying to stop it]
[Reno and Rude flee from the attack. Reno is seen carrying a blonde haired women.
Could this be Elena?]
Reno or Rude: "Is it coming at us?"
Reno or Rude: "Why don't you ask it?"
[The Party is then seen battling Bahamut SIN. This scene is actually longer then
on the E3 press trailer]
[A new bike scene shown of Kadaj and Cloud on a bridge]
[Kadaj is seen talking to the WCM again]
[Like in the Pre E3 trailer and explosion is seen]
Kadaj: "Mother!"
[Kadaj runs off screen. Cloud is perusing him]
[there is another scene of Aerith. It switches to Cloud walking in the rain]
[Kadaj arrives in the church. Cloud enters the church and Kadaj fires a bolt and
begins to laugh]
[Kadaj is standing on top of a building looking down]
Kadaj: "So I'm just a puppet"
Kadaj: "But so were... YOU!"
[Kadaj and Cloud battle]
[There are different scenes that flash at seconds at a time of Sephiroth in the
flames and of Cloud's sword and what appears to be another new shot of Sephiroth]
[The camera switches back to the fight. Out of nowhere the Sierra arrives and Kadaj
has a startled look on his face. It continues more and Kadaj jumps away and Cloud
flies upward]
[The scene changes to cloud standing and a shadow moves past him. He looks up. Sephiroth
arrives, the camera pans from his feet upwards as he is shown in all his glory]
Sephiroth: "It's been a long time..."
Sephiroth: "Cloud"
[Advent Children logo is shown along with release dates for Japan and the US]
Voiceover: "Final Fantasy Seven, Advent Children"
