Where: On Japanese TV. This is the first Advent Children commercial to be
spotted on television.
About: Even though it only runs for 15 seconds, the commercial contains new
footage of Sephiroth, however some of this footage was shown on the full E3 trailer
and possibly on the SE party trailer. The commercial also shows the re-rendered
Nibelheim scene as well as new footage of Jenova.
Script and Translation
[Square-Enix logo is shown on the screen]
[Cloud flies toward the screen, at Bahamut SIN, blade drawn and surrounded by a
blue glow. Bahamut unleashes a Flare]
Kadaj: "- strike back at the planet!"
[Zoom in on the newly rendered Jenova, from the Nibelheim Incident]
[A flash of Sephiroth's eye, as glowing energy pours from Kadaj as he collapses]
[Yazoo falls back through the air, firing a pair of Velvet Nightmares. A bullet
blasts Cloud's sword out of his hand]
Cloud: "I came for the kids"
[Cloud kneels on the ground before Kadaj]
[A Shadow Creeper rushes head on into Fenrir]
[Cloud looks toward the screen as staring down the barrel of a Velvet Revolver.
The gun fires, blasting him between the eyes. His goggles shatter apart, cutting
a wound into his left temple as a small stream of blood flows out]
Tifa: "Run!"
[Tifa delivers a hard punch to Loz, knocking him into a church wall]
WCM: "What's your aim?"
[A close up of the WCM speaking]
[Cloud crashes down at Kadaj on Fenrir. The two parry swords briefly, as you see
that both are riding their motorcycles]
[Yazoo and Cloud cross weapons while on their bikes in the tunnel]
Tifa: "He's not going to fight at all..."
[Tifa speaks, looking worried, in the church]
[Yuffie back flips into the screen, away from Bahamut SIN]
[Vincent leaps through the air, turning as he aims his handgun, Cerberus]
Sephiroth: "- we'll drive it to despair"
[Cloud runs along Bahamut SIN, slashing with his blade as blue energy sprays around
him]
[Sephiroth looks down with his arm raised, speaking as his hair blows in the wind]
[Kadaj drops to his knees in the church, screaming]
[Cloud crouches, gripping his blade in both hands, then leaps toward the screen.
Sephiroth descends from the sky, drawing back the Masamune. Sephiroth and Cloud
fly at each other, then strike. As their blades lock, there is a brief glimpse of
Cloud on Fenrir in the forest]
[The re-rendered scene of Sephiroth standing in the flames of Nibelheim plays, as
the Advent Children logo appears on screen]
