New Crisis Core Details This is an early report of some of the new information to be revealed in upcoming magazine articles for Crisis Core. The new battle system is known as Digital Mind Wave, or "DMW", and revolves around the reels in the upper left corner, which influence Zack's stats. Upon lining up three reels of the same character and value, a "Power Surge!!" will be triggered, and a technique that has some connection to the character will become available. There are also new screenshots featuring Reno, Rude, and Razard, who is an executive of the Department of SOLDIER and seems to have two sides, depending on if he's working or not. April 2007 Hobby Link Japan Scans Two scans of the April issue of Hobby Link Japan featuring the Kadaj Play Arts figure have been uploaded, courtesy FF7AC Reunion. The figure is 22cm tall, includes his reinforced double katana, Souba, and has several points of articulation. Before Crisis Multi-Carrier Release A bit late (I admit, I simply forgot to type up a news article for this), but as of late January, Before Crisis has been released for the first of two new mobile carriers in Japan, Softbank Yahoo!Mobile. Along with the release, there is the introduction of two new characters. Legend (Male) is a new character who becomes playable after completing the game. Nunchaku (Male) is a new character appearing only in the Softbank version; however, because both versions share the same network, Softbank players can still interact with DoCoMo players in the various multiplayer apsects of the game. Before Crisis is expected to be released for a third carrier, AU EZweb, soon. Before Crisis & Last Order OST Delayed It has come to our attention that CDJapan has canceled preorders for the Before Crisis -Final Fantasy VII- & Last Order -Final Fantasy VII- Original Soundtrack, citing the album's cancelation as the cause. Details are still sketchy, however Sony Music Shop's entry for the soundtrack now indicates that it's scheduled for release in May, 2007, so this is hopefully nothing more than a delay.
