Finally an Official US Release Date! After months of speculation and rumors, an official US release date has finally been given for Advent Children. The movie will be released on April 25th for both DVD and UMD as a special double-disc set. Unfortunately Last Order is not set to be included as a special feature. Official US Site Updates ... or does it Earlier today, the official US website was updated with new information in their news section, confirming three voice actors - Steve Burton [Cloud], Rachel Leigh Cook [Tifa] and Mena Suvari [Aerith] as well as a release date. Interestingly enough, this news was later removed, with now only a "Feb 10, 2006" placeholder. The intrigue continues. In other news, a rumor has been floating around the web regarding an official release date for Europe. Scoop Magazine Features 'Secret' Figure Scoop Magazine has released a set of figurine pictures, such as Vincent, Tifa, Selphie, Tidus, Rikku and Zidane, however there a mysterious new figure, who appears to have short straight hair, a suit, and a gun. And is labeled as 'Secret' by how this looks, it seems to be Turk Vincent, however this cannot be clerified. Update on Release Date After much silence regarding the American release of Advent Children, some information has finally been released, though it's not what many hoped for. According to The Digital Bits.com, and reported by 1up.com, as well as Gamespot, Sony's only definate plans for the DVD release is "by the end of 2006."
