AC UMD Details The UMD version (for Sony's PSP) of AC will be released on 14th September with the DVD version, and priced the same as the DVD at 4,800 yen. As well as stereo audio, it'll feature selectable Japanese subtitles. AC Promotions Square-Enix are planning various promotions for AC in Japan in the run up to its September release. During July there is going to be a 'song tie-in' (perhaps a theme song for the film), as well as articles in magazines (such as W-Jump) introducing parts of the story and the setting. During August there'll be more magazine articles in gaming magazines like Dorimaga releasing information about the characters, and TV commercials near the release date. New Advent Children Figures by Bandai Bandai has scheduled the release of five "Super-Deformed" figures from Advent Children. They are planned to go on sale September 22, 2005 and are 200 yen a piece, or 1,000 yen for the whole set. Final Fantasy for PS3 in the works (Subtle hint a possible remake?) The latest issue of Dengeki Playstation features an interview with Yoshinori Kitase, director of FFVII and FFVII Tech Demo. The interview is about a Final Fantasy for PS3, but in response to speculation about it being FFXIII, Kitase gave out a hint that the FFVII tech demo was supervised by him aswell and that the development of the FF for PS3 is happening via a similar process...
