Misc Scans from Dorimaga *Updated 28/5* A couple of miscellaneous scans containing Before Crisis and PSP information have been uploaded. The events of Before Crisis will tie up with the main storyline of Final Fantasy VII and will follow FFVII's chronological table. Before Crisis slated for Sept 2004 Release Before Crisis - Final Fantasy VII is due to be out September 2004, and will be available (in Japan) on NTT DoCoMo 900i-series or higher phones. Game Informer Interview with Nomura The Game Informer website has a short interview with Tetsuya Nomura. In the interview, Nomura talks briefly on the roles of the three silver haired men and is sure to point out that their hair and eye color matches that of Sephiroth. Advent Children & PSP Clarification There has been additional information derived from articles on the PSP and it is now clear that Advent Children will be available on UMD (Universal Medial Disk) for the PSP when the PSP launches sometime in early 2005. Advent Children & PSP New information from Sony indicates that Advent Children will be playable on the PSP (PlayStation Portable), and will be release on one Universal Media Disc (UMD). Square-Enix to develop games for new handheld platforms Square-Enix's head of operational planning, Sasaki Michihiro, commented on his company's plans for the PlayStation Portable. He said Square-Enix does intend to support the platform, but still has some questions regarding its business model. Square-Enix also appeared as one of the companies supporting the Nintendo DS on a recently published list from Nintendo. Fan Made Advent Children DHTML Game Recently forum member Velvet Nightmare announced that he was working on a DHTML game called "Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children - Memory of Despair. Impressed with his ideas, we offered to host his game for him. Cloud Mobile Phone Model On doing some digging through the web, we have tracked down an image of the Cloud cell phone model that will be displayed at this year's E3. Square-Enix USA Website Updates E3 Info The official Square-Enix website has been updated with a press release on the games that it will be showing at the E3 expo next week. There is a small paragraph on Advent Children which refers to technological advancements enabling a new look for the world of Final Fantasy VII. It also mentions that no release date has been set for the US as yet.
